Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)
INJECTABLES & REGENERATIVE TREATMENTS
Regenerative Aesthetics, Personalized to You.

Discover an aesthetic treatment approach that uses platelet-rich plasma prepared from your own blood. At Oasis MedSpa, PRP treatment options may be considered for selected skin and hair concerns following an individualized consultation.
What Is Platelet-Rich Plasma?
Platelet-rich plasma, commonly known as PRP, is prepared using a sample of the patient's own blood. The blood is processed in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate platelets within plasma.
PRP contains platelets that release growth factors involved in the body's normal tissue-repair processes. Its use in aesthetic treatments is being studied for selected skin and hair concerns.
Why Is PRP Used in Aesthetic Care?
PRP may be incorporated into selected aesthetic treatment plans, including procedures addressing certain hair and skin concerns. Treatment methods and supporting evidence differ according to the condition and intended use.
Treatment Options
PRP FOR HAIR CONCERNS
PRP injections may be considered as part of an individualized approach to certain types of hair loss. A consultation helps determine the type of hair concern, whether PRP may be appropriate, and what outcomes are realistic.
PRP FOR SKIN CONCERNS
PRP may be used in selected aesthetic procedures involving skin quality and appearance. Your provider will discuss the treatment method, available evidence, expected outcomes, and potential risks.
MICRONEEDLING WITH PRP
Microneedling with PRP combines a microneedling procedure with platelet-rich plasma. It differs from standalone PRP injections and should be discussed as a separate treatment option.
What to Expect
STEP 01
STEP 02
STEP 03
Your provider discusses your concerns and goals, reviews relevant medical history, and evaluates whether a PRP-based procedure may be appropriate.
PERSONALIZED CONSULTATION
BLOOD COLLECTION & PREPARATION
A small amount of blood is collected and processed using a centrifuge to prepare platelet-rich plasma. Preparation methods vary by equipment and treatment protocol.
The prepared PRP may be applied or administered according to the selected procedure. Your provider will explain expected discomfort, recovery considerations, follow-up, and whether additional sessions may be recommended.
TREATMENT & FOLLOW-UP
Treatment options, preparation methods, and availability are subject to professional assessment and confirmation by the Oasis medical team.
Understanding Your Results
PRP treatment responses vary according to the treatment area, procedure, individual biology, and clinical condition. Changes, when they occur, may develop gradually rather than immediately.
Your provider will discuss the goals of treatment, realistic expectations, and the number and timing of sessions that may be appropriate.

Your Safety Comes First
PRP procedures involve blood collection and, depending on the treatment, injections or other skin procedures. A medical consultation is important to assess suitability, discuss expected benefits, and review potential risks.
Using a patient's own blood does not eliminate procedural risks or guarantee treatment effectiveness.
Important Considerations
- Bleeding disorders or platelet-related conditions
- Current infections or relevant medical conditions
- Medications including anticoagulants and anti-inflammatory drugs
- History of fainting or reactions to blood collection
- Relevant skin or scalp conditions
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding considerations when applicable
Potential Side Effects
Depending on the procedure, possible effects include temporary discomfort, redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, bleeding, or infection. Blood collection may also cause lightheadedness or bruising. Additional risks depend on the treatment site and technique.
